My name is Liem

Pronounced as /ˈliː.əm/ lee-əm or 'Liam'

I’m 19 years old, from the great isles of Great Britain where I spend all my days drinking tea and occasionally do battle in gentlemen disputes.

I'm a student writing from the comfort of my bedroom situated in Birmingham.

I'm an aspiring content creator, creating blog posts from time to time and inspired by pretty much everything or anything, that comes to mind. Which you may find out in the near future that it is pretty much mostly deep satirical nonsense, with no sensical objective to the matter at all. But, hopefully, contains some giggles along with it.

If I was a character in a movie, I'd be that supporting character ' to the main protagonist, commonly known as 'Friend 1' of your stereotypical Romantic Comedy.

I'm that mildly unattractive, fairly unimportant, and only really there for comic relief. With the connotation of being more to be laughed at than laughed with.

I like to think myself as a witty yet narcissistic fabulous individual who relishes in self-deprecation and where I spend my days dreaming of one day opening a coffee shop where I will forever play jazz music whilst sipping on a cuppa dark coffee. #HipsterAmirite

All in all, I'm a tea drinking, movie watching, blog writing, jazz listening, socialistic being, mildly perfectionistic flamboyant fool on parade.

About me.

Hopefully, in the upcoming academic year, I will embark on a gap year journey where I was fortunate to be selected by a charity called Project Trust, which specialises in year-long overseas placements. I will be voluntarily teaching English in the rural schools in Japan at the north end of Hokkaido in the very tranquil Toya Village.

After my year out, I will hopefully be studying English Language at some Birmingham University or other.

In the distant but foreseeable future, I hope to spend my days fulfilling my dream of one day owning a Cafe where I can be the real life embodiment of the finest coffee brewer in the known universe, Brewster from Animal Crossing.

All you need to know about me is that I'm known as a professional full-time procrastinator, an avid music listener, movie enthusiast, gaming fanatic and a hardcore foodie when it comes to granola and cheesecake.

My selected topics are mainly down these particular reasons. I write for the Travel section due to the very typical ' Omg, I wanna go traveling! 🌎✈️' motive that every privileged teenager wants to do... My reason for writing about Politics is that I want to express my ever so lustful need for enlightenment and connection in such a disillusioned and disenchanted political paradigm and of politicians alike.
